august	London in August is hot, but pleasant (as always); this time for IETF 51.
june	A week isn't enough time in France; we had four days in Dinard for an XML Protocol Face-to-Face, and a side trip to Mont St. Michel.
	Afterwards, we took four days in Paris; only enough for a look around! We did manage to take in Versailles and the Louvre.
april	A week in Hong Kong is just about right; although I was there for the W3C Advisory Committee meeting, I had a chance to look around as well.

december	Off to Australia for Christmas and New Years.
november	Anitra and I went to Palm Springs (at Ballantine's) and Joshua Tree for a quick Thanksgiving holiday.
november	The W3C Advisory Committee meeting, in Boston. This was my first AC; bewildering, but fun.
august	I spent some time in Kiel, for a P3P Face-to-Face meeting, and then in Stockholm for a conference.
july	We've been to Hearst Castle twice; once with Inger and Luke for 4th of July, and once with Roger.
may	Although we were both supposed to go, Anitra didn't make it to Lisbon, due to visa issues. Instead, she had a stop in London.

october	After England, it was on to Barcelona, where we spent time in Parc Guiell and the Sagrada Familia.
	Finally, we spent five days in Rome, including a visit to the Vatican.
september	European holiday. First stop London for Deb's wedding, with a side trip with Nick and James to Rye and the seacoast, including Beachy Head.
	On the way, we stopped at Hever Castle and Sissinghurst, and had a walk through Ashdowne Forest.

november	Anitra and I used frequent flyer points to take a quick weekend in Brisbane, staying at the Heritage.

Before all of this, I went to school to be a photojournalist; while things didn't end up that way, I still have some of the essays I did.
