RSS 0.91 spec finalized
Good morning fellow syndicators!
This morning I did two things:
1. I froze the RSS 0.91 spec, changed the copyright, allowing it to be
supersetted, superceded or forked, or whatever.
2. I posted a draft of a guidelines statement re further evolution of RSS.
These are just my thoughts for how we could work together to add value to
RSS. This document is not frozen. Comments questions and suggestions are
very welcome.
Key point, imho, any progress in RSS, no matter how small, is a victory for
the Internet.
Also important is the role of magic, and listening, selling, giving, and not
least important, fun!
These processes *can* be fun, if each of us takes our own work seriously
before expecting others to.
My own opinions, of course, and more are here..

Let's have a good time, and do something good for the Web.
