Dave, I'll ask you one more time. Can you please tell us what exactly is
wrong with the RSS 1.0 proposal? I want to hear so that I know whose
proposal to go with and also to give the RSS 1.0 people a chance to fix
things. You've made a lot of comments in the past about the modularity work,
but I still don't understand exactly what you're upset about. Can you please
explain it?
Here's my reasoning. RSS is a very useful spec, with a lot of possibilities.
I'd hate to see it be subject to a major split. However, if it has to
happen, I'd like to at least know why. Can you tell me? Don't worry about
walking on eggshells -- come out and tell us how you feel. Or, if you are
worried, send email to me privately. I promise I won't be offended, I just
want to hear your side of the story.
Many thanks,
