Headline Viewer 0.9.6 (not yet sold in stores :-) has a very
simple searcher -- type "/" to get to the search box, then enter
a search term, then press Enter repeatedly as it cycles through
matches. Kind of cool, if I do say so myself.

A couple of related questions,

- Anyone know an RSS aggregator (web-based or desktop) with decent search
capabilities?
- What's your feeling on RSS + "channel-descriptive metadata"?  Is that
part of RSS0.92?  (ignorance will out...)
