File extensions

Is there any sort of convention for the file extensions of RSS files?
(And by implication any other standard within XML?) Should I use
- MyChannel.rss
- MyChannel.rss.xml
- Mychannel.xml.rss
- MyChannel.xml
- MyChannel.rss92.xml

or something else entirely.
