Don't know if you got your answer on this or not,  but I believe you 
can get back search results from Moreover in RSS.  Just go to 
http://moreover.com, put "hunter thompson" in the search box on the 
right, go, and you get this URL at the top:

http://64.210.210.52/cgi-local/page?o=portal&h=Search+results+for...+%
22hunter+thompson%22&query=%22hunter+thompson%22

in the url, change the 'portal' (which is the o=output format) 
to 'rss', and you've got the search results in RSS format (v.91):

http://64.210.210.52/cgi-local/page?o=rss&h=Search+results+for...+%
22hunter+thompson%22&query=%22hunter+thompson%22
