This has been irking me for months.  Pyra has very little in the way of
technical resources, since last I checked it was still only Evan Williams,
who's stretched pretty darn thin.

imho, Pyra needs to realize that its real value is in its community rather
than its code, take a hit of the magic kool-aid, and put Blogger under the
GPL.  Then 150,000 webloggers could stop worrying that their tool is going
to be swallowed overnight in some failed-dot-com vortex, Pyra could figure
out better ways to wrangle the vast amounts of weblog content that would
still be fed to them by registered users, and *I* could write the RSS
support.

But this is a somewhat extreme position.
