Making RSS part of the PRISM spec is probably not in the
interests of either group. I doubt that the RSS community
would want to cede change control of the spec to the PRISM
Working Group, which is open to any organization that wants
to join, as long as they can come up with has membership
dues. Second, as Aaron pointed out, it would add some more
stuff to our spec in an area that is not our core interest.

However, since PRISM's core purpose is to help content developers
cut costs and open new opportunities, defining a mapping from
PRISM to RSS seems like something our users would be interested in.

The PRISM group will be publishing a 'cookbook' of simple
implementation 'recipes' to help developers get started. A
stylesheet or application to generate RSS from PRISM seems like
a great thing to put into that cookbook.

In fact, that was added and went out with the 1.0 release of the
spec on April 9.
