RE: [syndication] EchoFactor and RSS work

Hi Alis et al
I met one of echofactor co-founders at a lunch last year, smart guy he
seemed. I think they had a good search algorithm in hand but the investment
required to set up ops seemed too high, and the site did not seem to
develop much content.

Re RSS work, I am in similar position as Alis, probably more embarrassing.

Despite a masters in information systems I still only understand what is
explained very slowly , clearly and with little ambiguity. I am so busy
just keeping up with the news and developing a top view, saving my soul and
the planet to worry about trivial implementation issues.(just kidding)

But can read and write and will be very happy to publish a story aimed at
throwing a bit more light on the thing and evangelizing the success of
cooperation versus schism in this particular segment of the open source
community

Cheers

Just finishing my FAQ here and I happened to be checking some links and
noticed EchoFactor appears to have closed down.

If this is old news, I apologise, but I wasn't aware of it.

Alis
