Nice! Works for me and my not-quite-ready-for-announcement rss file.
So now there are two possibilities for "anonymous" javascripting of
RSS so far: the Wytheville Community College News Center or piefke.
Thanks to both. Any more?
Surely it would be more efficient to have a script that read the
rss.xml file whenever it changed and then wrote a local headlines.js
file which then the remote user could just embed on their page. All
done locally? This would not replace registering your RSS with the
aggregators for maximum exposure, but would be a simple "add our
headlines to your site" trick. Am searching for rss2jscript.pl but
not finding one...
Hoping I haven't exposed too much ignorance,
Thanks,
Ben Parker
