Julian, these are easy questions to answer!
1. RSS is a Web content syndication format. (See the Philosophy section in
the 0.92 spec. [1]) Two years from now it will be solving the same kinds of
problems it was solving two years ago, namely Web content syndication.
2. The target user is a Web content publisher who wants more flow. They use
these other formats: HTML.
3. It's impossible to position it relative to the RDF fork until it states
is vision in a clearer way.
