Howdy,

Might I suggest, too, the following:

  * Establish a persistent URL pointing to the site in case of
    problems, moves, and so on.  Associate paths of this 
    URL with appropriate sections of the site (the URLs you
    mentioned).
    I happen to know the fellas who maintain purl.org/rss/ ;-)

  * Have [Syndication] "own" this site, using its discussion forums,
    polling system, etc to build it.  The file upload functionality
    is particularly useful for allowing any subscriber to propose
    an addition for comment, revision, and possible incorporation
    into the site.
