Quite frankly, your "I"s and "NO!"s are speaking louder than your emphatic
claims that you are not the owner of RSS and that it belongs to the
community. All I've been asking for, all evening, is to find a way of
allowing the rest to speak and be counted.

Hand-waving only feeds the controversy and I'm asking that we find a way to
no longer need it.

Your desire to have RSS rest in peace is very much in opposition to the
community at large that seems to want it to grow -- only how, is the
question. So I'm asking "how?" Can we go to a poll, please!

I'm not having this discussion on RSS-DEV. I'm having it here, with the
RSS* community as a whole. If folks want RSS to go no further as RSS, I
*want* to hear that, from those who like the new tags in 0.92 and RDF'ers.
That's why I'm suggesting a very simple poll.
