Hello list members,
You've already seen what happened from Julian's post.
Mike's actually in holidays (when the whole thing happened and as of
now). So, blame me ;)
Whole thing corrupted when some jerk started to call the script
150'000 times in 2 hours - and guess what happened to our (not so
strong) server...
After a day of settling down and trying to find out what happened,
I've restarted the exports, but now they need registration. Without a
Unique_ID, you won't be able to access the feeds. Reason behind is
quite simply to avoid something like this happening again.
Getting such a ID is quite easy: Write me a mail (or go to
http://www.newsisfree.com/contact.php ) and provide the following
URL, Caching Mechanism, Audience. As of now, I just had to refuse one
applicant (would you consider one of the world's largest mailing
companies as non-commercial :) ?)
Regards
Pino
