I definitely agree with this. How long ago did Berners-Lee think of the
Semantic Web? And only until recently have people "come back" to those
ideals. There was a lot of misguided crap in between. I'm not disparaging
the technology that has arisen - its wonderful stuff. But doesn't it all
seem a bit flashy? How many normal people will use this stuff?

How does one keep it simple, whilst the other
extends it to bring it to the cutting edge?
