RE: [syndication] syndic8.com OCS feed fails parse.

Hi,

Indeed there is a problem. Do I need to insert some kind of XML
declaration or PI at the top of the generated document? I'm not
sure how to fix this, but I will as soon as I know...

Hey.

Is anyone else using the syndic8.com OCS feed at:

http://www.syndic8.com/genfeed.php?format=ocs

I noticed that Reptile hasn't worked with this feed for a while and went
to
investigate.

It looks like they are using some eternal general entities but without a
DTD:

IE

Â

Doesn't look like all the <description> fields are validated before
input.. ??

I tried to get Xerces to turn off general entities but this SAX feature
is
disabled for the version I am running with.

Anyone else have these problems???
