Re: Using <LINK> tags in feeds or pages?
Using HTML <link/> to point to syndication feeds has been discussed at
least once [1], but I don't think anything ever came of it.

Well, the standard reads [2], "Authors may wish to define additional link
types not described in this specification. If they do so, they should use a
profile [3] to cite the conventions used to define the link types." So the
most we could abuse rel is the self-abuse of using something without any
user-agent support.

Supposedly Mozilla does now, too [4], but I'm curious how either of them
handle unknown rels such as "syndication". From this bug [5] I'm guessing
for Mozilla it's "not very well," at best.
