2700 newsfeeds at a glance...

As part of an experiment, I created a page containing the images of over 
2700 RSS
feeds. The result is actually kind of neat:

   http://www.syndic8.com/site_images/

Each image links to the Syndic8 info page for the feed. That's why there 
are so many
NewsIsFree and Moreover links.

There has been at least one report that this page crashes browsers, so 
beware.

A few observations:

1. Some have questioned the value of including an image reference in the 
RSS. To me,
this page shows that the image can be used to set a feed apart.

2. Its not too hard to page through nearly 3000 items to find something 
interesting
when each item has a graphic.

3. Lots of people don't about or are choosing to ignore the 88x31 image size
convention/standard.
