This feels more like a UI problem than a tech problem. Many feeds to
many users. Presumably you'd offer the user a choice of hourly, daily or
weekly emails.
I imagine a user defining a group or bundle of feeds taken from the
*Big* list. Giving it a name and then defining an email frequency. The
aggregator would only have to collect the feeds that people had
requested.
It always used to be possible to get Moreover categories by email,
either daily or weekly. Maybe you still can.
