Julian, was this a serious question? I haven't had my morning coffee yet so
I'l, being dense, but to answer your above question, no, the space is not
needed. The space is needed if you care about 3.0 browsers displaying your
document - but 4.0 browsers and up correctly understand <taglines/> and
<taglines />.
