http://geourl.org/ has added some pretty neat RSS feeds. If you stick your coordinates in a web page metadata, point geourl at it, you can watch for new nearby sites.
http://geourl.org/rss091/?dist=500&lat=43.5&lon=-75.75or find sites near your own with their service, and look in the head for the link tag which points at the RSS.
Pretty cool.
