a new Wiki
Sam Ruby has set up a Wiki[1] to foster community discussion about what an
abstract data model for weblog entries and similar things should look like.
As I say elsewhere[2], the applicability is potentially much broader - if
it allows metadata syndiation, we're really playing ball.
So, I'd encourage everyone to go over and have a squizz, especially if
you're interested in the metadata syndication side of things.
P.S. - If you're wondering about the relationship to the RSS Profiling
Wiki[3], I think it's this: the Profiling Wiki was about trying distill
RSS into its essence and improve it. This appears to take RSS' history
into account, but doesn't presume to interpret it.
