Yes, I mean, let's get to the real question, what has it been decided that using
client-side scripting is the right way to implement this?  What goals are being
served by requiring use of scripting?  There are often very few reasons that
justify the use of scripting.  Fewer still that actually benefit the user.

And all aggregators should be stripping out scripting.  Or, when possible,
integrating with the OS to determine security levels appropriate for scripting.
The latter is a quagmire of security risks so I'd caution against having it
actually work properly.

Again, if there's a sound reason for using scripting let's hear it.
