HELP! RSS broke like a twig when Netscape "improved" my.netscape.com

I don't know about anybody else but my tool to parse RSS files and
display their contents ceased working completely yesterday when
Netscape rolled out their "new and improved" version of
my.netscape.com.

As part of their rollout they seem to have removed the file:
http://my.netscape.com/publish/formats/rss-0.91.dtd

A file which unfortunately they had told _everybody_ to put in the
DOCTYPE of their RSS file. So now my application always dies when it
is parsing the RSS files with this:

Parsing error, line 2, uri http://www.gamedev.net/xml
   External entity not
found: "http://my.netscape.com/publish/formats/rss-0.91.dtd";.

I'm desparate for a fix so if anybody knows how I could tell JAXP to
ignore the DOCTYPE line or has a couple of lines of code that would
do the trick I would really appreciate it. But beyond that, what is
everybody supposed to do now to change their RSS files so they again
point to a DTD? And how many files will get updated and how many will
go on and on with a pointer to a file that apparently no longer
exists?

"Hey, after all, we're Netscape, if we're not going to use RSS
anymore then nobody else will either right?"

"Heh heh. You are so right man, we are really the only ones who
matter."
