As one of the authors of 0.91, which is the spec that most people code their
RSS channels to, these two documents explain what it is, and explain the
philosophy of RSS, as far as I'm concerned.

PS: To members of the Syndication list, Andy is working on a story that digs
up all the history. I told him I didn't support the idea, that to do a good
and fair job, it would require a few weeks of work.
