That's bullshit.  I'm as interested as everyone else in seeing good 
overall support of these formats.  

I said don't be petty [1].  Was this not clear?

Whether one spec or another is "the winner" isn't important.  While 
it would be nice to see one format fulfilling all needs, that's not 
going to happen immediately.  It's fair to say this might be a 'bad 
thing' as some needs seem to be hampered by limitations of some 
formats.   Better to have parallel paths that might eventually 
converge than to have one path leading to nowhere.
