The mod_event proposal mentions dc dc elements but the examples don't
seem to take them into account.
Nor does RDFCal[3] but it does use foaf[4]. There's also the RDF
Calendar workgroup[5]. There's also iCal[6] and SKIcal[7] extensions
[8].
There appear to be a number of calendar related efforts under way.
