I suggested using Dublin Core elements to do this.  That way your new feed could
contain info about the old one.  Sort of way to let anything reading the new
feed double-check about the old one.

Most readers are /supposed/ to respect redirects.  Support for them varies.

What's the old/new URL pairs?  Enter the new one into Syndic8 and the old one
can be redirected to it.
