there're examples on the meerkat pages that are simple
cut-and-paste-into-your-page technology ;) they use a little javascript,
but nothing extraordinary....
if you need something fancier, then your technology requirements are going
to skyrocket Pretty Damn Fast - to the point where installing something
like MovableType or Drupal is going to be easier than trying to shoehorn
crappy tools into doing complex things.
a server-based and slightly customized installation of Amphetadesk might
be just the thing, incidentally.
