Defining new specifications is very hard to do because no one has
publicly stated what they'd like RSS to be capable of. Do people want
to us it to syndicate other forms of content aside from news
headlines? Do people want to use it to describe the structure of
their sites along the lines of their original intent of the format?

Dave, Rael, what problems do you need RSS to solve?
