I don't see why.  The "direction" I believe we're headed is an extensible
RSS, backward compatible with existing RSS 0.91 -- based on the simple
requirement that basic RSS modules and libraries ignore what they weren't
built to understand.

Would this be added to the core RSS spec or alongside it somehow?
