I'd start by making a list of the new things it does.
Probably the most interesting is the connection to SOAP and XML-RPC.
Pub-Sub-Markup-Language for Multimedia applications.

It also supports the Timeless Weblog concept that I haven't had the time to
write up yet. ;->
